February 22nd:
alright so this week was pretty fun.
tuesday we worked hard and had a lot of success (exito?). because Elder Taveras´s last change we are really trying to get a baptism so we've been focusing on being more obedient and spiritual in our work.
in the afternoon we were talking to a less active lady who we've been working with a lot but shes a little tough. we convinced her to let us do some service for her the next day.
Wednesday bright in early we went the house of the less active lady and she put us to work, her daughter is going to open a store next to her house but the ceiling was falling a part (everything in mexico is made of cement)
so we had to knock the cement that didnt work down which took forever and it was a little dusty haha. after she fed us breakfast! it was a pretty good day.
thursday and friday were pretty good days too.
saturday was a little tough, no one was home and we couldn't get any one to accept us till we had a lesson with an investigator , P, who is super awesome! she super interested in everything. her mom is very catholic and doesn't like that her daughter is listening to us and so we have to teach her in the computer lab that she works in and she doesnt want her to go to church with us. we've been praying with her a lot so that her mom would let her go to church.
we showed up saturday and she told us that she had been looking on the internet about the church and she had a couple questions for us. she had found some things a little negative about the church and we had to explain a lot.
Thankfully she understood and we taught her about the book of mormon, she had told us before that she felt like this was the true church just that she didn't believe in the book of mormon. we decided to read the intro with her and bare our testimony's.
it was really special because she told us that as she read she felt something shed never felt before. we could really feel the spirit. after she told us that her mom was going to let her go to church the next day, it was a pretty awesome lesson.
sunday our investigator, P came to church and she liked it a lot! were really hoping she can continue to progress.
today we did the normal things so that next week we can play sports!
we've been really blessed this week, my favorite part of misssionary work is testifying of the book of mormon, its were I've felt the spirit most and my testimony of it is something very special to me, i know the book of mormon is
true and anyone who reads it with faith and a purpose will receive what they desire and so much more.

February 29th - Happy Birthday Anthony:
so I've had a pretty awesome week! Thursday we went to culiacan for a meeting for the leaders. we got to culiacan at about 9 and stayed in a hotel,
the next day we a had the meeting the whole morning. i learned a lot and it was fun to see the elders from my mtc district. then we headed back to escuinapa and got in at about 10. we were pretty tired thursday but we had a lot of work.
saturday we had to give our zone meeting. i always get super stressed but i think it went well. then we had district conference and pres. Velez came and spoke on saturday and sunday. i had a total of about 5 meetings this week. which took up the majority of our time.
today was a pretty normal day, woke up , cleaned clothes, cleaned the house, and now were gonna work..... hahahaha
no actually i woke up to my comp jumping on me and singing happy birthday haha then we went and played football with the zone the whole morning! when we got back we made pancakes! then i opened all the presents you guys sent me! you guys are awesome! and then an investigator ,Patricia, bought me a cake! later my comp and some other elders said we that one of the members needed help with some things and we were gonna help him. when i walked in the door i got hit with a bunch of fun spray haha then we ate my favorite cake so i was pretty happy haha! crazy day!

que onda familia?
not much to report this week, the work stays rough, the gospels true and i smell like sun screen. my comp found out that we have a little town outside of escuinapa in our area so we went out Wednesday and saturday to see if we couldn't find some people to invite. its about the same size as Tanques and a little bit more lively.. we found some members who hadn't seen missionarys for along time. their pretty poor so they cant come out to escuinapa with there whole family every week so we want to start a branch out there. there really good people . the streets are full of sand, which makes it fun on a bike. i was going pretty fast at one point and hit this quick sand pit that just stopped me and i about fell over the handle bars.
today we bought a bunch of doughnuts and had a nerf war haha this is what happens when we cant play sports haha.
one thing really cool about being in Escuinapa is we eat shrimp just about every day, im not a big fan of shrimp but shrimp fried tacos are pretty dang good!
