Alright so with week just like the last was a little stressful to say the least!
tuesday we had our meeting and then we went out to work, i love this area because it so big and has so much work!
Wednesday we helped sisters move from on the other side of mazatlan at about 6 in the morning till 10 ! it was fun cuz we loaded everything on this small pick up truck and then i road on top hahah then the new owner wanted the rent money the sisters didn't have so we as zone leaders had to go back to our house to get the money and we finally ended everything at like 1. then i got THE CALL, the call every missionary gets they don't wanna get.... the offices of the mission asked me which airport was the closest to my house.. i was not very happy.
thursday i got to meet our new mission pres, his name is pres Gabaldon. hes about 40 years old and has a family of 7 with the youngest daughter being 2years old! hes like the youngest mission president. hes really cool and taught us a lot his first day their.
friday was pretty normal, just lots of work!
saturday we went in the morning to the church to clean for our baptism. the font had a weird smell in it so we cleaned her out good! then in the tarde when we were going to the church for the baptism my comp accidentally ran over a nail and destroyed his wheel. so we had to walk the rest of the way to the church. the baptism went awesome! it was for a girl named Melanie! she about 9 years old and we found her family a couple of weeks ago, her moms a member but hadn't come to church for a while so we've been working to reactivate her too. her granpa baptized her and confirmed her on sunday!
today i would like to say how grateful i am to be an american!! living out side of it with a lot of people who want to be inside i've come to realize how awesome it is. just the fact that you can drink the water from the tap now amazes me! today my comp and i went with some other american elders to dominos pizza on the beach! pretty fun day!

alright so tuesday it rained in the morning which was awesome but we were in the church for our district meeting and when we walked out side it stopped and the sun came out and it got super hot and humid! which made the day really fun but we had a lot of success!
Thursday was awesome, we got a reference from an investigator and we went and found her and her mom in the house, and they accepted us really well and then when we walked out side we found a member and she introduced us to a friend who has been looking for a religion! so we had a lesson with him and hes super excited to listen to us. then we went to another appointment and his neighbor asked us when we could visit him! so that was a pretty crazy awesome day!
Sunday was a little up and down! we were gonna pass for some investigators when they all called us and told us they couldn't come for one reason or other!! then we got to church and we found an investigator there named A, he super awesome but hes still trying to decide between us and the catholic church even though he comes to our church and accepts Joseph Smith as a prophet. he comes and asked us if we had brought his friend we visited and we told him that she couldn't come and so then he tells me hes going to the bathroom but as soon as he went out the sacrament room he bolted..... now he has some mental problems and i know its really hard for him some times but i got a little frustrated but was kind funny at the same time.
well we went to visit him later that day and as soon as we got there he was super apologetic and we sat down with and we really didnt have anything planed so i just asked him if he wanted to know anything and he says " how does Ggod forgive me?" which as a missionary one of the funnest questions to answer, so we began to explain the atonement and about the gospel and importance of repentance and baptism and i'm not sure how but i could tell something clicked in his mind and i felt like i should ask him when he wanted to get baptized (even though i've done a iy billion times and he always say no) he says " as soon as possible". it was a prayer answered i honestly did not see coming but when he said that i knew he meant it!! its one thing i love about the mission you begin to desire the salvation of others and you don't stop praying and studying and inviting them till they make there decision.
today we didnt do much haha were pretty worn out which is awesome!

I'm not dead Yet!
it all started Tuesday morning, that night it had rained and i didn't know that there was a bit of a leak in our house and i so happened to leave my back pack (containing scriptures) on the ground and well when i picked up my back pack you can imagine the surprise i found in my soaking wet back pack. thankfully it was only the bible that was soaked from genesis to exodus and it dried some what well. the day continued after our morning meeting we went to give some blessings to two sister missionary's who were sick. they had just moved and i didn't know where they lived. basically we got lost for the hottest hour of the day when we just ended up on their door step haha, it honestly had to be the spirit that guided us because we were so lost haha. giving blessings are always awesome experiences! and then we had to run back to our area for our lunch appointment (were not normally late for appointments, especially food appointments) and on the way i turned a little too sharp and fell into a puddle. i can honestly say falling into dirty water puddles in the streets of mexico is not as fun as it may sound, never the less we got to the food and it was delicious and there was coke included. thankfully the rest of the day was ok, haha i learned i did not have as much patience as i thought i did.
Wednesday we had a pretty normal day.
thursday A (the investigator who wanted to get baptized) had his interview. in the middle of his interview his sister showed up outta no where and took him on some errand!! he came back about 30 mins later and as the district leader went in to start the interview again he came back out about five mins later saying A didn't want to get baptized anymore! so i went to the house and talked with him and he said that his sister said she didn't think he was ready and he didn't want to anymore. we talked for a little bit and we just shared our testimony's and he remembered why he wanted to get baptized and changed his mind again! it was a little bit stressful but we got it done!
friday was pretty good, we had a lot of work and a sister gave us dinner!!
saturday we cleaned the church and had our baptism! sadly only about 3 people came to see it but A was super happy! after we went out to work again and it just poured on us! we got rejected like 4 times and we went with some awesome investigators and we talked about the importance of the family.they really liked it and we talked for like and hour about it and then they bought us hotdogs! haha
sunday my comp elder Sant confirmed A!
Today we just got our house cleaned and went to burger king because we found some coupons in the street!!
