his week was pretty good again haha.
we found a lot of new investigators and some less actives. lots of heat. its about 108 degrees every day. Nothing new this week really
This week we had stake confrence. Elder Velez was their and it was good too see him. also Pres. Velez and his Wife were there and spoke. they talked a lot about missionary work to get the members to go with us in lessons. also the stake president had Angela get up and bare her testimony in front of the whole stake. she looked pretty scared but when she gave her testimony every one could really feel the spirit.
Today we woke up and washed clothes, deep cleaned the house again ,went to Cocos locos and ate their becuase my companion had not eaten their yet.
Not really too much this week haha but i love it out here.

Pretty good week! tuesday i went on splits with elder johnson. i learned a lot from him. we had a really good day too, taught a lot of people.
Wednesday was pretty normal other than we have this new rule were if someone smiles at us in the street we have to contact them. well we were walking down the street and i saw this Jehovahs witness lady teaching another lady ( i know this because they all have this stand with their bibles and stuff and in really big letters it says "testigos de jehova". well as we passed her and she smiled at us and my companion goes and contacts her haha. i guess at first he didnt realize she was a jehovas witness missonary because after he started talking to her he realized her massive stand haha. but he kept with it and surprisingly she didn't want anything to do with us haha.
thursday to saturday we were blessed with a lot of work.on friday we were teaching a guy about how the priesthood was necessary to pass down and he freaked out and told us we were crazy! it was interesting because i felt more bad for him rejecting the gospel than being embarrassed. i started thinking about how many times Joseph Smith must have heard the same thing. its not easy but the spirit definitely testifys and fills us with what we need in those moments.
sunday was pretty cool. it was testimony meeting and every member in mexico loves bearing their testimonys. theirs always lines and we always go over time haha. angela got up and bore her testimony and it was really cool to see someones testimony grow. she talked about how the fast elder gates and i invited her to do gave her the strength to quit smoking. she hasn't had the desire since. also this American couple came in which isnt really all that normal for my ward. the brother got up and told every one he had served in this ward 17 years ago and that now hes a bishop in st. george. he said that because of that ward he gained a testimony and stayed in the mission. after we got to talk to him and it was cool to see someone who climbed the same mountains and preached to the same people as us.
after church i finally found him!! a couple weeks ago when i was with elder gates we contacted a guy named Jesus. hes was the one who wanted to kill himself and we told him that Christ can bless and help every one. sadly he gave us a very vague address and we couldnt find his house. well we were knocking a door sunday and for some reason i had a really big yawn. well this guy comes walking buy and asked if i was tired and i jokingly said a little. well he kept walking then it dawned on me that i had seen him before. then it hit me. so i told my comp we need to chase this guy down. we caught up to him right before he went into his house. we found out that this guy was his twin and he told us we can come over this week to talk to both of them! im pretty excited for that! i had fasted and prayed to find him for a while and my prayers were answered!
today we rented bikes with our district and rode up and down the beach. then my comp and i went looking for shoes for him. hes 6´6" so his shoe size was a little hard to find here in mexico. plus we wanted very specific shoes and after about 4 hours we gave up looking for them... but it was still a good p day.
i feel really blessed this week and have been having a lot of prayers answered lately. hope everythings been going great for you guys too!
