so we had a pretty ok week i guess you could say haha.
tuesday and wensday were pretty normal. on thursday we had a lesson with a less active lady and one of her friends was there listening. they asked if i could do the first prayer and i said the prayer and when i ended it, i was feeling the spirit pretty strong when the friend askes me " was that in english because i didnt understand a word!" that kinda shot my confidence down just a little. later that day we were on our bikes in the street and we saw two ladys cutting down some trees with machetes. we stopped and asked if we could help and they let us! (normally people just say no so this was big haha) so i start wacking the tree and my comp says to me " you've never used a machete before right" haha so he taught me how to do it and it was pretty fun. after they family told us we could come by some day to teach them so we were pretty excited after that.
the week went pretty well and were working hard. today we just did the normal stuff clean, wash and buy food. when we were at the store buying we had almost finished buying when we had to go to the second level for some stuff so we left our carts with the others and when we came back ours was gone.. you can imagine the excitement we had as we went to get a new cart and start over again haha.
so we ate with super awesome family today and they have chickens and ducks, so as we were eating, a duck and a rooster start fighting haha surprisingly the duck won haha.
ill talk to you guys next week!

Alright well this week was pretty good.
we pretty much just worked hard and found a couple new people to teach which is always super exciting, its fun to answer peoples doubts and help them to understand the gospel. its a amazing sometimes how before we meet someone they dont really think much of God then when we show up they start thinking about him and grow a desire to change.
nothing funny or embarrassing or crazy really happened this week. just that the bike i have has decided to stop working. my brakes went out on tuesday (i now use my feet) the left peddle had a crack in it and on Wednesday these kids wanted to race us and while i was pedaling a big piece broke off, and since thursday the chain likes to fall off the gears. i guess ill being putting an investment into it later today.
lately my comp has been wanting me to buy him things cuz the dolar is at 20 pesos which is a lot. but i tell him i'm poor. also a lot more people have been asking me for money. its really annoying and I tell them i'm from mexico city and that its super racist to think i'm american haha.
sunday was a tough day... theres a couple of elders in the district who are big bronco fans so it was even harder for them.
today we asked for permission to play sports and pres said yes. so we spent the whole morning playing soccer and basketball haha
