what a week hahah soo monday we went to culiacan and stayed in a hotel. that morning we had our meeting which lasted till 1pm. it was super long but i learned a lot! our new pres is awesome, he has us really focusing on finding new people and baptizing them. after they fed us chihuahua style tacos! they were super good. we didn't get home till 8 so we didn't get to work. and the end of the meeting they told me i had to give part of the meeting the next day haha so the whole bus ride home i was just getting that ready. Wednesday i had to give my part almost last. im not sure how it went but i learned a lot from it. then we got to eat pizza and then we had to go to ANOTHER meeting for an hour and a half and we didn't get out till 530 and then we had to start divisions immediately after haha. i got to work in my area so that was nice. i tried to take the day nice and slow thankfully we had a bunch of appointments so we stayed busy. we had a lesson with a lady who's husband and his family are members, shes been getting ready for baptism and in the lesson we asked when would she like to get baptized and she says the 13th of September( the day after i end my mission) and i wasn't gonna say anything but then my comp let her know my situation and she changed it to the 9th so i can be there haha.
friday and saturday went well. sunday was exciting to say the least, we show up and bishop asks "you guys ready?" and even though i knew the answer i asked "for what?" and he says well i don't think the speakers are gonna come today so you guys are gonna speak. thankfully my comp always brings talks just in case but i had used all mine here so i scrambled to get something ready, it was kind of amazing the revelation the lord sent me cuz i had something decently prepared when he called my comp and one of the speakers to give the talks haha so i got outa that one haha.
so ill be getting home at 7pm on that Wednesday
love ya!
August 22nd:
what a week haha
so tuesday i went on divisons with elder Anderson and it was kinda funny cuz he had a cold and i was dying of allergies. We would be talking to someone or teaching a lesson sneezing and coughing all the way through hahah. but it was still a successful day. at the end i had elder Sant convince a sister to bring a extra fridge we had in our house to the little town i was doing divisions in because their fridge door was busted and they just leaned it on the fridge.
Wednesday we had a lot of work and it flew by!
thursday we planned to do an activity to contact in another area to help some elders out and of course it was pouring but we still got them some people to teach!
friday we got our zone meeting ready and then went out to work. it was a pretty good day because we had a lot of appointments to go to! and everyone was home too.
saturday we had our zone meeting and after we ate cake because we had like 5 birthdays in the same month.
sunday we had a lot of investigators come to church. i got out of having to give a talk again but our bishop called on some other people who weren't ready, no one is safe in the ward. i told some members that everyone should just have a talk ready to give haha. later we watched meet the mormons, i have seen it like 7 times in spanish and not once in english haha.

August 29th:
so we had a good week full of work work and a little more work.
i cant really remember much but on saturday we had this awesome lesson with a lady named H. shes a single mom as of a week and her sister just got baptized and shes been going to church with her sister. we were teaching her about the apostasy after Christs death and she related it to her family , she said that her mom had tried to teach her and her siblings to do the right but when their mom died her family kinda went off and did their own stuff, then we started teaching about Joseph Smith and we had her read what Christ said to Joseph in response to her question. she started to cry and the spirit really filled the room. she told us she felt like those words were exactly what she needed to hear, when she said that i learned something new about the restoration: its cuz we all kinda need a restoration on our own lives and what Christ said to Joseph he means for all of us.
i dont have much time but i love you guys and ill write ya next week!
