We were lucky enough to chat with Anthony through email over the last few weeks. It makes it hard to post a letter since most of what we received from him was while we were on and chatting back and forth. Lucky us! :) I will post some of what he wrote us here so you can see what he has been up to over the last few weeks.

so not every day is a wonderful day in the mtc. this weeks been tough. monday and tuesday were really rough with the district. we have a companionship who are a little oblivious to life and like to think the world revolves around them. they love to talk about deep doctrine and love to take up the class with their own dumb ridiculous questions and don't like to here that their wrong. i was praying wed was gonna be better but it just got worse, the spanish lauguage is the hardest thing ever!!!! a quote " the lord cuts us down so he can pick us back up" so i have been humbling myself ever since.
yesterday we taught our trc investigator carlos, i dont remember explaining it but we teach him without knowing if he is a real investagator (its really mean). we (Holzer) commited him to baptisum for our last time teaching him, after we asked if he was a real investagator and he said yes. we dont know if we really commited him or not but we are talking to him on minday do find out. it was a really good day finaly. we are know helping some sister missionarys in our zone who teach carlos so thats pretty fun too.
and then this morning happend... temple was awesome as always and then we got something amazing in the mail. OUR TRAVEL PLANS ARE FINALLY HERE!!!!!!!
we head to slc at 3:35 am, plaine leaves at 845, get to lax at 945, leave laz at 207 and arrive in the new homeland at 710. ill be walking the safe cold streets of Culiacan in 12 Días!!!!!

so this weeks been weird. kinda of a boring week we just had class and then yesterday we had infield orientation. 8 hours if surprisingly nothing! Thompson has to get surgery on the hand so he wont be joining us to mexico. i moved rooms so i can get some sleep at night. dad got the right bed, i freaking love the socks. im honestly really stressed for mexico, mostly because my Spanish is embarasodo ( told the guys that story). my companion became district leader last week and hes kind of power hungry but we are both working on being more humble so thats good. i already know im gonna miss this place too. on the bright side weve been creeping on other missionarys blogs in Culiacan and they seem alive haha.
oh ya and i was in the choir, not proud. my comp draged me and half of the district. they told me their be girls so i went. and elder madsons girl friend sent us all ties soaked in her perfume ahahahaha we all smelled like white women hahah.
